In emerging markets, nearly 40% of the people are unbanked, making it difficult for people to purchase content. Digital markets and ecommerce are controlled by a few big corporations, creating barriers and a highly centralized model. Bezant gives users the needed tools to buy, create and share digital content throughout the globe. Bezant’s payment solution aims to connect over 250 gateways in 50 countries. Developers don’t have to worry about high transaction and exchange fees and distributers can boost engagement by rewarding users with Bezant tokens.

The Bezant Team, operating out of Singapore managed to raise over $27 000 000 during the duration of thei initial token sale.

Bezant’s structure is composed of both a blockchain and a service platform that cooperate in order to enable Service Partners with a dynamic blockchain-based payment platform to create new services. Bezant is targeting SPs with significant user and subscriber bases across many sectors: game publishing, e-commerce, music and video streaming, communications, social networking, and media channels.
The Bezant blockchain is engineered using the Hyperledger fabric technology as a starting point, which provides a distributed ledger technology enabling enterprise-ready network security and scalability in what essentially is a modular blockchain architecture.

At the top layer of this blockchain, the Bezant service platform will provide a Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) system design, which will allow Service Partners to create dynamic blockchain-based services for their users. There are primarily two types of users for the service platform: Enterprise clients and individual clients who indirectly use the platform via Service Partners. The number of users on the blockchain and platform will increase as the Bezant’s partner network grows. The Bezant blockchain will provide multiple authentication services for each user and will create multiple channels to help ensure that there are no security issues.

Jehmi Wallet is a payment wallet that end users will interact with and it will be powered by the Jehmi payment solutions platform. Wallet users will be able to utilize a plethora of functions directly within the wallet UI. Jehmi Payment Platform is the back-end solution to the Jehmi Wallet. The Jehmi payment platform solves the key problems in digital payments faced by sellers: limited payment options and high fees. The Jehmi Payment Platform consists of two main products: Both Jehmi Pay and Jehmi wallet cooperate together in order to provide an infrastructure for e-commerce and content stores.

At this stage, Bezant is still a whitepaper project as they have no working products. Another thing about projects of this type is that they’re way too utopian in nature and automatically assume large user bases and mass adoption, while in reality they’re not particularly sought after by the market and there’s usually not a high demand for such blockchain services.

Conclusion

So far, Bezant is way too early in its development do draw any sort of strong conclusions. We can only sit and observe as it goes through with development and hopefully starts delivering the products listed on their whitepaper and roadmap.
