Cypriots will be awarded 25.4 Aphroditecoins each from April 21st 2014

Round about one year ago, in spring 2013 the government of Cyprus came up with the idea to dispossess their people. The idea was to take 10 % of bank savings from the Cypriots to solve the problem of national bankruptcy. The Cypriots were already hardly affected by losing their jobs beginning of the bad period from financial crisis in 2009. The following years the small island and its citizens in the east Mediterranean Sea could never get back to its former wealth. As time went by, companies had to release their employees which resulted in less consumption followed by lower earnings for shops, services and enterprises in Cyprus. Tax payments declined, social payments inclined.

Also the Cypriot state finance was influenced by the Greek national bankruptcy. Then in the beginning of 2013 the Cypriot government was forced by the European Government to dispossess the citizens of Cyprus. The result was a huge movement of protest. The Cypriot blamed the EU that the dispossession would destroy the Cypriot economy.
