Delete Coin (DEL) started in 2014 and finished in 2014, with a total supply of unknown coins. The team/founder is hidden, The main reason this coin was listed is desertion.

(from old site) We have implemented a new fork at block 6,000 to strengthen the overall value of DeleteCoin as well as to implement a new business process for how DeleteCoin will function as a whole. From block 6,000 forward, reward has been changed to 25 blocks instead of 250. Additionally, the max coin has been changed to 600 Million from 1 Billion, reducing the overall mined coin dramatically. The reason for this is to boost the value of DeleteCoin to give a stronger overall buying power to the coin itself. Additionally, the process for acquiring alt coins as well as how DeleteCoins will be handled will change as well. This is a much more aggressive approach that some may not like at first, but we feel, with the feedback from the community, it is the best approach to achieve the overall goal of DeleteCoin, which is to resolve the dilution of coins do to the every day creation of new alt coins adding no value to the crypto realm. From this point forward, DeleteCoin will only accept coins currently on an exchange. This will allow us to dump the coins back onto exchanges and essentially flood the market and hopefully, ending the alt coin. When BTC is generated from these sales, they will be used to buy back DeleteCoins off the exchange which will be sent to a public address inaccessible to anyone, which in turn will remove those coins from circulation. DeleteCoin will essentially act as a self deleting coin used to drive alt coins out of existence. This is a radical approach, but we feel it is the most effective manner to achieve our final goal.
