About GPL

Gold Pressed Latinum (GPL) - one of the Star Trek inspired coins.
GPL - a hybrid scrypt-jane PoW + PoS based cryptocurrency.
GPL was started August 27, 2013 and still alive.
Scrypt-Jane was created to protect coins from ASIC-miners. Hash algo is changed from scrypt(1024, 1, 1) to scrypt(N, 1, 1). Parameter N increases over time making HW or GPU implementation more and more impractical (but yet possible). With nFactor=16 all GPU miners become unstable, and GPL now have fixed nFactor=15 -> scrypt(65536, 1, 1)
