"From Bitcointalk Website" SHOPX was developed and released in August of 2014 and it is the 2nd version of SHOP COIN which was released 2 months prior. SHOP was originally a purepos coin and by popular demand we have re-released SHOP as SHOPX to allow all users a chance to mine this coin. We have kept the same max coin count of 500k and altered the POS Reward so we could do this without having to mint any extra coins. The purpose of SHOPX is to be the official currency of our forum which features an eBay style market and an Arcade with more than 50 games to play. As our community grows we will find other websites to take our coin and will find other uses for it.
