Pros

  • Hybrid Consensus
  • Reliability

Cons

  • No team members listed
  • Not unique technology
  • No backing (asset, profits, commodity)

Summary

DeepOnion is a coin that has a very specific use case and it performs reliably with only minor bugs being discoverers in recent months. It has a promising road map and could be a strong competitor in the upcoming future. Personally I like DeepOnion and hopes it will find a place along side the likes of Verge, Dusk and Monero.

Review

DeepOnion, A privacy coin that is integrated into the TOR network to ensure private payments with full anonymity. DeepOnion has a number of working products and products in the works that make it a very competitive privacy coin. With the likes of Monero, Verge and Dash dominating the market DeepOnion has to get creative to be “not just another privacy coin”.

  • DeepVault
  • DeepSend
  • Hybrid Consensus
  • Anonymous development team

Deep Vault is a hash file storage built into the DeepOnion Network which allows for users to have file verification with in the DeepOnion Blockchain.

DeepSend is the technology which DeepOnion use to send irreversible payments through the TOR network.

DeepOnion uses the Hybrid Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake consensus for its validation method.

In no way do DeepOnion have unique technology, and amongst most lower market cap coins this is a very common trait amongst itself

This is an odd one, the development team don’t have a face which potential investors could raise an issue with, However this is able to work for their team since there was no ICO that funded the beginning of DeepOnion. This does actually work more for the image of deep onion more so than detrementing it.
