Review

WePower is solving a very real problem by making renewable energy more accessible and encourage growth in the section which can have an impact on climate change. We hope WePower see large success in the future.

At this stage it is hard to see any cons. They have some huge competition going into the energy field and this might provide difficulty as WePower becomes a bigger threat to traditional power companies.

Key Features

  • Provide Tokens that are backed by power
  • Allow renewable energy producers to sell their energy forward
  • Create an easy way for investors with lower capital to invest

Problems that WePower solves

  • Easy access of renewable energy
  • Generates a demand for renewable power

Features

The tokens that WePower give out are tokens that are effectively backed by electricity. 1 WePower Token = 1 kwh. This allows for renewable energy providers to sell their electricity before they produce it. The consumer is then granted WePower Tokens and can sell them on or use them as necessary.

The market interest and dollar value invested into renewable energy has dropped over the past year. WePower see this as an issue that can be changed with a lower capital requirement to get involved. Anyone with a few dollars now can buy renewable energy through WePower.
